Troop 96 Calendar 20 March 2010, Saturday UA Spring Break No UA School Composites and Chemistry Merit Badge Clinic Time: 8:30am - 2:30pm Location: Ashland Chemical Ashland Inc. will be offering classes to complete the Composites and Chemistry merit badges on Saturday March 20, from 8:30 to 2:30. Sign ups are open now, and will close on March 2 at 4:00pm or when the class is full, whichever comes first. You must preregister to attend this merit badge seminar. The class is limited to the first 36 Scouts to enroll, with a maximum of 6 Scouts per Troop. We also need at least one or two adults per unit (more is good) to help maintain two-deep leadership, and it would be a big help if adults could register along with their Scouts. To sign up, please contact Ed Badger at ebadger@ashland.com. We need to know each Scout's name, Troop, and mailing address so we can send out the packets, and each leader's name so we can make sure that we have enough adult leadership. Each registered Scout will receive a resource packet containing a workbook with all of the requirements that need to be completed ahead of time. Scouts attending need to bring the completed workbook and two signed blue cards in order to complete the badges on that day. There is no cost for this program and lunch (pizza) will be provided. After our class is full, additional registrations will be placed on a wait list. If you are on the wait list, your status will be communicated no later than Monday, March 5.
